History of Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory
The history of Wilson St. Pierre began in 1897 when J.C. Wilson started a funeral business in Greenwood. Robert R. St. Pierre, Michael and Steven's father, a fourth generation funeral director, managed the business for several years prior to purchasing the company in 1964. Michael joined his father in the family firm in 1969 and Steven followed suit in 1973. When Robert passed away in 1977, Michael and Steven took over the management and ownership of the firm. Through the years they have added several locations and in 1993 the St. Pierre's founded the Greater South Side Crematory.
The entire family has worked diligently to meet the ever-changing needs of the community. Michael and Steven pledge to continue the Wilson St. Pierre tradition of providing outstanding funeral service for Indiana families. As in the past, they are known for their high standards of service and pioneering in professional practices.
